Join Us for a Poker/Trail Ride
The Women’s Center is
sponsoring a Poker Trail Ride to Break the Cycle on Saturday, July
23, 2011 at Brady’s Run Park Horse Arena in Beaver Falls to raise
money to support its services.
Participants will ride their own horse
along a pre-marked trail and attempt to obtain the best “poker” hand
by drawing cards at five stops along the route. Riders will pay a donation
fee to participate in the ride and can try their skills at games in
the horse arena after the ride.
Equine games will include a judged
trail class, an egg and spoon ride, a cake walk on horseback, and
non-riders will be able to play egg toss. A concession stand will be
