The Women's Center of Beaver County presents, "Shifting
Beyond: What's Wrong With You" This
training is a presentation that teaches participants about the
concepts and applications of trauma informed care.
Healing is
possible. This training will teach participants about the concepts and
applications of trauma informed care and moves from the question
"What's wrong with you?" to one that asks, "What has happened to
you?" Who should attend? Counselors, Therapists, Social Workers, Case Managers,
Domestic/Sexual Violence Advo-cates, School Counselors, Clergy,
Medical Per-sonnel, and Administrators. University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work Continuing
Education Program has pre-approved this training for 6.0 Hours and
is being held
